We do not run a large graduate program. We hire engineers who can work independently on a small business network, who communicate clearly with a practice manager, and who are comfortable being the person on site.
What we look for
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure administration.
- Practical knowledge of Fortinet, Cisco or Meraki firewalls.
- Willingness to travel to client sites across NSW.
- Clear written and spoken English.
How to apply
Send your resume and a short note about a network problem you have solved to [email protected]. We reply to every application, even if there is no current opening.
What the work actually is
An engineer at Intelligent Networx works on a small portfolio of NSW businesses. You know each client by name. You know their network, their people, their recurring problems and their upcoming projects. You do not rotate through a call centre queue. You own the relationship from onboarding to resolution.
Day-to-day work
- Remote support for helpdesk tickets during business hours.
- On-site visits for cabling, network upgrades and fit-outs.
- Quarterly maintenance windows on servers and workstations.
- Project work: migrations, firewall deployments, AI pilots.
- Writing the one-page findings report for a new client.
What we expect
- Microsoft 365 and Azure administration experience.
- Practical knowledge of Fortinet, Cisco or Meraki firewalls.
- Willingness to travel to client sites across NSW.
- Clear written English, because the findings report is how we communicate.
- A bias towards fixing the root cause, not patching the symptom.
What you can expect
- A named portfolio of clients, not a rotating queue.
- Reasonable after-hours rosters, not on-call every week.
- Training budget for Azure certifications and AI integration work.
- No cold sales calls. We do not ask engineers to sell.
